The "Bockhorner Oldtimer- und Teilemarkt" (Bockhorn Vintage Car and Parts Market) is the classic among vintage car events in Europe.
The "Market in the North" is considered one of the highlights of the scene. More than 6,000 historic vehicles, from sleek sports cars to exclusive luxury sedans, rugged motorcycles, heavy commercial vehicles, and rustic tractors, are presented in an idyllic park landscape covering more than 200,000 m². Over 20,000 visitors find their way to us in Friesland on these days. At the parts market with 1,000 stands, tinkerers and collectors can stock up on spare parts, tools, "more or less complete" vehicles, and other accessories. Lovers of antiques and nostalgic accessories will also get their money's worth here. One of the highlights of the Bockhorner Oldtimermarkt is the Sunday "Friesland Rally": 120 vehicles that left the production halls before 1980 start. There is also great interest in the additional Sunday car boot sale. Here, treasures from garages and attics come back to light.
