The "Bockhorn Oldtimer and Parts Market" is the classic among classic car events in Europe.
The "Market in the North" is considered one of the highlights of the classic car scene. More than 6,000 historic vehicles, from racy sports cars and exclusive luxury sedans to rugged motorcycles, heavy commercial vehicles, and vintage tractors, are presented in an idyllic parkland setting covering more than 2,000 square meters . Over 20,000 visitors make their way to Friesland during these days. At the parts market with its 1,000 stalls, mechanics and collectors can stock up on spare parts, tools, "more or less complete" vehicles, and other accessories. Lovers of antiques and nostalgic accessories will also find plenty to enjoy. One of the highlights of the Bockhorn classic car market is the Sunday "Friesland Rally": 120 vehicles that left the factory before 1980 take part. The additional Sunday trunk sale also attracts considerable interest. Here, treasures from the garage and attic are brought back to light.
